The Novation MiniNova Synthesizer is a powerful yet compact 37-note polyphonic synthesizer based around Novation’s UltraNova sound engine, providing up to 18 voices and a range of studio-grade effects. At its core, the MiniNova features three oscillators with a range of waveforms, including 20 digital waveforms and 36 wavetables to choose from. You can also utilize up to two filters per patch with a myriad of filter types at your disposal. Incorporate up to 20 modulation slots per patch for in-depth sound design. Add texture to your sound using the various effects on offer, from classic reverb and delays to an EQ compressor and many more.
Featuring its own unique vocoder (VocalTune), you can also synthesize your voice while you play, a unique technique championed by the likes of Roger Troutman. Showcasing its sonic power, the MiniNova also includes 256 presets that you can browse by genre or preset type for quick and easy navigation. From the studio to the stage, the MiniNova shines, with five tweakable knobs and eight Animate buttons for unique performance functions.

Editing sounds in such a powerful synth can be overwhelming, so Novation has created a software application that gives you visual access to the synth engine.
