The microphone has outstanding isolation with a lively and balanced sound profile. The large Mylar diaphragm dynamic capsule ensures excellent tonal balance, and the low-mass high-velocity material delivers an exceptionally fast transient response. The microphone has a rich and detailed frequency response with a 4-point suspension shock-mounted capsule. It also features a tuned pneumatic pump at the capsule base for superior handling noise and mechanical vibration reduction.
The locking pivoting head ensures easy and precise mic placement, and the simple and effective button-style locking mechanism offers superior isolation from other nearby instruments. The microphone is equipped with a humbucking coil that prevents line hum and electromagnetic interference. The robust die-cast zinc yoke with a die-cast aluminum housing and dent-resistant Memraflex grille ensure durability.
