K Constantinople The K Constantinople series associates its sound with the Zildjian cymbals made in Turkey during the first half of the 20th Century. Resurfacing in the 50s and 60s with bebop era drummers “Old Ks” have laid the ground work for the new K Constantinople series. Skilled artisans have hand lathed this 18 crash cymbal using old-style cutting tools and techniques to retain pits and other surface impurities that modern finishing processes remove. This process allows the original tonal quality to be retained and untainted. The Zildjian K Constantinople 18 crash is a high performance cymbal used by many professional drummers such as Pablo Bencid (The Either Orchestra) Keith Carlock (Toto) Wayne Salzmann II (Eric Johnson) and Nils Tornqvist (Miike Snow).
