The Pearl HPP-2 Bass Drum Hoop Protector is a metal guard plate designed to protect your bass drum hoop from close contact with a kick pedal – especially wooden hoops. It eliminates scratching splitting and general wear and tear prolonging the life of your hoop. The included grip tape helps to keep your pedal firmly in place by giving your pedal clamp a grip-able surface. Excellent for keeping as a spare it is compatible with the vast majority of bass drum hoops.
