Features of the cable tester include a microprocessor-controlled design with 3 modes: cable and installed cable test, as well as a test tone mode. It accepts all standard connectors such as XLR, TRS, RCA, and MIDI. The operation is made super-easy with an intuitive LED display.
The cable tester also allows for continuity check and intermittent contact detection. It can perform phantom power and ground-shield checks. Additionally, it features a test-tone generator that produces frequencies of 1kHz or 440Hz at +4 dBu, -10 dBV, or -50 dBV. The package includes a belt clip for convenient carrying.
