This mouthpiece from the Yamaha Signature Series has been produced in collaboration with American jazz royalty Bobby Shew. Mr. Shew has been active on the scene since the 1960s having played trumpet with the Woody Herman and Buddy Rich big bands. Noted for his fluid and instinctive improvisational style Bobby sought a trumpet mouthpiece with slick playability and gutsy projection. His unique input paired with the knowhow of Yamahas best brass engineers has resulted in a trumpet mouthpiece perfectly suited to playing jazz.
