PreSonus BlueTube DP V2 Preamp
Enjoy the versatility of the BlueTube DP V2 dual-path mic/instrument preamp, which allows you to choose between solid-state clarity or tube warmth. The solid-state path includes PreSonus Class A XMAX mic preamplifier with 80 dB of variable gain, an improvement from the original BlueTube DP. On the other hand, the tube path utilizes a 12AX7 tube that operates at higher voltages compared to other preamplifiers, resulting in increased headroom and a rich tone. With the Tube Drive feature, you have the flexibility to achieve various levels of warmth or distortion. Additionally, the preamp offers 48V phantom power, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, -20 dB pad, and polarity reverse options.

The BlueTube DP V2 is a half-rackspace unit with two combo mic/instrument inputs, making it suitable for both vocals and guitars. It is an excellent choice for singer-songwriters, as they can connect their vocals to one channel and their guitar to another, eliminating the need for a separate guitar amp. The preamp also functions as a DI box, thanks to its balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4″ outputs. Furthermore, it comes in a durable 1/2U case.

Musicians can also use the BlueTube DP V2 as a front end for a DAW (digital audio workstation). The preamp boasts a high-headroom Class A XMAX mic preamplifier with an impressive 80 dB gain range. It includes a 12AX7 vacuum tube gain stage and a Tube Drive control that allows for tube saturation adjustments. Other features include a 48V phantom power supply, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, a -20 dB pad for reducing hot input levels, and a polarity-reverse switch. Additionally, there is an illuminated analog VU input-level meter.
