Featuring a low-profile microphone design, the ATM350PL provides unobtrusive mounting with minimal visibility. It delivers crisp, clear, and well-balanced microphone response even at high SPLs. The cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, providing excellent isolation of your desired sound source.
The UniMount magnetic piano mount attaches securely to the frame or other metal part of your piano, while providing excellent shock resistance for the microphone. The rugged UniMount 9″ gooseneck rigidly holds its shape, maintaining accurate microphone positioning even during aggressive play.
The in-line power module is equipped with a switchable 80Hz high-pass filter for controlling undesirable low-frequency ambient noise. Optional interchangeable elements are available for hypercardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns (not included in this kit, must be purchased separately). Included in the kit is a piano mount with hook-and-loop fastener for additional mounting options.
The microphone element is a fixed-charge back plate permanently polarized condenser. It has a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz and an 80Hz low-frequency roll-off of 12dB/octave. The microphone has an impedance of 200 Ohms and a maximum input sound level of 159dB SPL at 1kHz and 1% THD. The dynamic range is 130dB at maximum SPL.
The microphone is powered by 11-52V DC phantom power and features a switch for flat or roll-off frequency response. The microphone weighs 14.5g and has dimensions of 37.8mm long and 12.2mm max. body diameter. The power module weighs 90g and has dimensions of 92mm long and 18.9mm diameter. The power module output connector is integral 3-pin XLRM-type.
The kit includes a 4.0m long cable permanently attached to the microphone, with a 3.2mm diameter 2-conductor shielded cable with HIROSE HR10-type connector. Optional interchangeable elements for hypercardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns are not included in this kit but can be purchased separately.
