The Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Wireless Receiver is designed with a robust body pack and provides exceptional clarity across the entire frequency spectrum. It offers complete compatibility with Sennheiser’s WSM control software, allowing for flexible frequency allocation and support for up to 16 channels. The receiver can be powered by two AA batteries or Sennheiser’s BA 2015 rechargeable battery (not included). It comes with a pair of IE 4 earphones and has a transmission range of up to 100 meters (300 feet).
The EK IEM G4 receiver features easy and flexible wireless synchronization between the transmitter and receiver through infrared technology. It is also compatible with Sennheiser’s WSM control software, which allows for convenient frequency allocation. With up to 16 compatible channels and a bandwidth of up to 42MHz, the receiver offers stable and fully tunable transmission in the UHF range.
Included in the box are the EK IEM G4 stereo receiver, two AA batteries, IE 4 earphones, a quick guide, and a safety guide. The receiver operates on wideband FM modulation with a frequency range of 606.6MHz to 613.5MHz. It has a transmission receiving frequency of up to 1,680 frequencies adjustable in 25kHz steps. It offers high RF output power and has a sensitivity level of less than 4μV.
The EK IEM G4 receiver also features intermodulation attenuation and blocking capabilities, as well as a squelch function that can be adjusted from 5 to 25dBμV. Additionally, it has a pilot tone squelch option and a Sennheiser HDX compander system. The signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 90dBA, and the total harmonic distortion is less than 0.9.
The output power of the receiver is 2 x 100mW at 32 Ohms with a nominal deviation of +/-24kHz. It has a high boost option of +8dB at 80kHz and a limiter that can be adjusted from -18dB to -6dB. The operating temperature range is -10°C to +55°C, and it can be powered by either two AA batteries or Sennheiser’s BA 2015 Accupack. The receiver has an approximate operating time of 4 to 6 hours, depending on the volume level. It has dimensions of approximately 82mm x 64mm x 24mm and weighs approximately 125g with batteries included.
