Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S88 is an 88-note smart keyboard controller featuring a pro-grade hammer-action keybed with aftertouch for maximum expressivity. The Komplete Kontrol MK2 keyboard builds on the success of the original Komplete Kontrol, providing seamless integration with Maschine software and hardware.
The Komplete Kontrol MK2 MIDI controller is small yet powerful, providing you with two high-resolution color screens for browsing, tweaking, mixing, and more. The hammer-weighted keybed with aftertouch provides a natural and fluid playability, similar to a grand piano, for an authentic feel. The Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol MK2 also boasts full VSTI support and intuitive control for most popular DAWs. A four-directional push encoder allows you to navigate sound and projects, and the keyboard even includes RGB lights above each key, ideal for highlighting drum cells, chords, scales, and more.

With every Komplete instrument having been pre-mapped by Native Instruments’ leading sound designers, all you have to do is simply select your desired instrument and watch as the parameter names and values load onto the clear view display, providing a huge amount of parameter control right there on the S88.
Easy to use and navigate
With a built-in light guide system located at the top of the keys, the Kontrol S88 helps you identify drum cells, key switches, phrases, and many more at just a glance, saving you time and allowing you to absorb yourself fully in the music. Not only do the color-coded lights serve as instrument group markers, but they also have the incredible ability, once in scale mode, to light up the notes of a desired scale, allowing you to create fantastic and professional-sounding melodies whether an experienced or aspiring keyboard player.
Touch strips
The two ultra-sensitive touch strips located on the left of the keys have the ability to act as pitch and mod wheels, allowing you to add unique nuances to your playing. They can also be used to mimic physical objects like springs and bouncing balls for interesting modulation curves.
Chord mode for easy chord performance
Activate chord mode on the Native S88 and create a rich harmonic performance by playing single keys. Map chords simply by selecting mode and inversion or by loading up a chord set of ready-to-play progressions to inspire and augment your own compositions.
