The Waldorf Streichfett Plug-in brings the legendary hardware synthesizer to the virtual world. Experience the dense floaty sounds of the great vintage string synths of the 70s and 80s with a powerful dual sound engine featuring a fully polyphonic strings section and an eight-voice solo section.
Choose from a selection of six fully polyphonic string modes with a variety of customisation options including envelope ensemble effects phaser and reverb effects. The Solo Section offers five polyphonic tones designed to blend beautifully with the String Section. These pieces come together to present a rather complex sound engine capable of rich pads but is presented in a simple and easily comprehended user interface.
Now in VST format the Streichfett plug-in offers the best of both worlds. The clearly structured user interface offers direct access to important sound-shaping parameters. The UI is continuously scalable so always presents with clarity on your screen. Amongst a selection of digital quality-of-life features are all the automation features of your DAW so it is easy than ever to achieve complex modulations and expressions throughout your track.

Strings Section
Replicate massive walls of sound that will take you back to the days of the legendary string machines. A 128-voice fully polyphonic strings section is brought to its full potential in VST form so you can easily program huge spaces full of dense string voices. Enjoy six fully polyphonic string tones: Violin, Viola, Cello, Brass, Organ, and Choir. Continuously morph between tones to blend unique and striking sounds. Utilise an ensemble effect for depth and movement and animate effects for exciting modulation of strings registration that allow for spectacular sound morphs.
Solo Section
Blend the strings section with a solo section which offers six unique solo tones including Bass, E-Piano, Clavi, Synth, and Pluto. Just like a typical string machine, these names have little to do with the actual sound but offer shimmering and slightly percussive sounds designed to work and blend with the string section. The solo section offers eight voices of polyphony, layer or split modes, and a tremolo that lets you bring extra expression and definition to your sound.
Effects and performance
Express yourself with a number of performance options. Phaser and reverb effects bring space, depth, and movement to your sound, creating lush soundscapes or providing nuanced details that bring your mix to life. Poly and channel aftertouch open up Streichfett to a world of dynamic and playable expression options, letting your sounds morph and evolve in response to pressure on a poly aftertouch or mpe-enabled controller or determined by automation in your DAW. For further performance flexibility, sustain pedals and modulation wheels are fully supported.
