The 100-band stereo vocoder core offers superior intelligibility and performance with full intensity analysis and control. A nuanced and defined carrier signal can intuitively be developed through Lector’s integrated synthesizer or alternatively an external can serve as a carrier signal.
Lector is presented with an extended range of vocoder and synthesis features to deliver you exciting and interesting sounds. The integrated synthesizer is highly capable of robotic voices, blissful strings, rhythmic pads, and exciting leads. The 16-voice synthesizer is a fully-fledged and hugely versatile sound design tool that produces practically infinite sounds and effects. Utilize analog waveforms such as sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square with variable pulse width, sample and hold, and noise. Furthermore, you get the legendary Waldorf multimode filter with both 12dB and 24dB slope modes to truly sculpt your sound.
For further sound sculpting and character enhancing abilities, Lector comes with a three-band equalizer, which serves to precisely shape your sound with boosts and cuts. Moreover, a selection of effects can be used to refine Lector’s signal, including overdrive, distortion, chorus, flanger, stereo delay, and realistic reverb.
