The newly designed inputs aim to replicate the sound of a classic guitar or instrument tube preamp. The gain “Boost” switch associated with the guitar inputs boosts gain by 26dB to cater to instruments with very low level outputs. The overdrive characteristics of the guitar inputs are similar to a valve circuit, resulting in a wonderfully natural sound full of warmth and character.
