At a quarter the size of a full size cello this instrument is identical in construction and range to the full size 4/4 cello – it is simply scaled down for children and younger adults. For the developing cellist this means ease of playability and rich tone. Ebony Fingerboard For Ease Of Use The Archer 14C-500 continues to build on its traditional roots with a Maple neck. With its ebony fingerboard progressing players will be able to replicate deft fingering patterns and experience the type of response to their touch that will encourage them onto more innovative techniques.
