The ME-1 Personal Mixer is suitable for use on stage, in rehearsal rooms, or recording studios. It gives musicians control over their own monitor mix. Whether you prefer maximum control or a simplified setup, the ME-1 can be tailored to meet your needs. It has simple controls, clear visual feedback, and the ability to customize names for instant familiarity. This results in smoother soundchecks and quicker setups.
The ME Personal Mixing System provides unrivaled sound quality, whether you are using headphones, wired or wireless in-ears, drum thrones, or local speakers. It features 16 assignable user keys that can be customized to control different sources or groups with the convenience of pressing a single button. It also has 16 user presets that allow for easy storage and recall of levels, pan, mutes, and key assignments. Presets can be copied to a USB key for archiving or transferring to other units.
Groups allow you to mix up to 40 sources with only 16 keys, saving space and simplifying control. The ME-1 has the sophistication to handle all of this on-board while remaining user-friendly. The OLED screen provides a clear display of level and pan for the selected source, system setup and information menus, and a responsive stereo signal meter. The screen can be dimmed for low-light operation.
Custom naming allows you to easily identify channels and groups. One large rotary control accesses and navigates all of the ME-1’s most commonly used functions and menus. It controls input levels and pan, group control, master EQ and limiter, and global trim for adjusting all channel levels simultaneously.
The ME-1 also includes a built-in ambient mic that allows musicians to stay connected to the rest of the stage and hear the audience without needing to remove their earpieces. The ME-1 is compatible with the ME-U Monitor Hub and can be used with other professional digital mixers via Dante, Ethersound, or MADI. It also has an Aviom™ compatibility mode for use with Aviom™ Pro 16 systems.
The ME-1 is fully customizable and has intuitive operation. It has a compact smart design and is compatible with MADI, Dante, or Ethersound via the ME-U Hub (sold separately). It can be daisy-chained or used with standard PoE Ethernet hubs. It features 16 assignable keys, master level and key solo and mute keys, shifted functions to prevent accidental operation, minijack and 1/4″ headphone outputs, 1/4″ TRS balanced line out, and an aux stereo input for local sources. It also has link in/out secure and reliable EtherCon connectors for the ME-U or other Ethernet switches, a DC in for mains power or PoE switch, and a USB port for firmware updates or transferring presets. It can be used as a free-standing unit or surface-mounted with the supplied bracket.
