To achieve the classic tone of the original ES models, the ES-339 Pro Guitar features a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbucker pickups that produce a versatile tone suitable for a range of styles. Located in the neck and bridge positions, these PRO humbuckers can be easily sculpted via the volume control and a 3-way pickup selector, which also features a push/pull coil tap.
Semi-Hollow Laminated Maple Body
The ES-339 Pro features a semi-hollow body construction with classic F holes for enhanced resonance, as well as an open and airy tone. The laminated maple body delivers an overall bright tone with exceptional clarity, so that you can achieve the ringing bell-like tone of the iconic ES series. The maple is extremely lightweight, and the reduced body size is especially ideal for a fingerpicking style, as the slim body lets the player hold it closer to their body.
