The Laney Black Country Customs is a signature commission designed especially for Black Sabbaths Tony Iommi to re-capture a classic sound from his past. The renowned guitar sound on the first Black Sabbath album was possible because of a modified Dallas Arbiter Range master pedal which was subsequently lost along with its killer tone. Now Black Country Customs have recreated the powerful boost pedal allowing more players to make its sound their own.
Long Lost Tone Rediscovered Tony Iommis long-lost modified Range master allowed him to push the front end of his amp into overdrive creating his signature distorted tone heard on some of the most recognisable riffs ever played. The Laney TI-Boost has a significant bass cut and mid boost with a little more gain and extra EQ options to appeal to modern players. Controls include a Drive and Volume control along with the ability to dial in the Low and Hi frequencies plus a mid switch that gives you a couple of different Mid frequency options.
