The Streichfett String Synthesizer is a brand new string synthesizer made by Waldof. Based on String Synthesizers from the 1970s-1980s, the Streichfett String Synthesizer delivers a unique variety of tones in a compact sleek design.
Fitted with a dual sound engine, it allows for efficient processing of both a polyphonic string section and a monophonic solo section simultaneously. This gives the user a wide range of options when it comes to fine-tuning their tone.
The device comes with factory-installed presets, but also allows the user to create and save up to twelve of their own sound settings.
Streichfett combines the best of previously extinct species of String Synthesizers from the 70s and early 80s. Its dual sound engine features a fully polyphonic strings section and an eight-voice solo section, essential for recreating the sounds of adult movies from thirty years ago.
The Ensemble Effect handles the lubrication of the String Section, while the Effects section adds adjustable Phaser and Reverb. The Animate Effect can be used to modulate the strings’ registration, allowing for spectacular sound morphs.
The Solo Section offers presets named Bass E-Piano or Clavi, which may sound different from their names. These are shimmering and slightly percussive sounds that blend well with the string section.
Although the User Interface is simple and easy to comprehend, it controls a complex sound engine capable of delivering rich and creamy pads unlike any other instrument. Twelve patches can be stored and selected in the Memory section, and USB and MIDI capabilities are on board.
